PVC Strip Curtain

Flexible PVC strip curtains provide an easy and cost effective method of reducing heat loss or retaining chilled air in areas where control of the environment is important.

PVC strip curtains are suitable for use in a wide variety of applications, the most common being:
External doorways commonly with heavy traffic
Internal doorways commonly with pedestrianised traffic
Welding booths - both mobile and fixed
Sound booths
Dust, spray and/or fume barriers
Temperature controlled lorries
Temporary or permanent partitioning

The most popular and versatile hanging system available. Manufactured from heavy gauge stainless steel, which comprises of a universal face or underside fixing hook-on angle section and stainless steel clamp plates which are riveted to the top of each PVC strip. The unique wide hook design helps keep the strips in place and also means that there is no requirement for any costly locking system. it is not only the simplest but the speediest of all suspension systems to install.

The track is supplied ready to fix - there is no making up required and once installed the strip can be taken down for cleaning, or eventually replacing in virtually a matter of seconds. Supporting steelwork is also available when there is no lintel to fix to and/or when the curtains are being fixed in conjunction with other industrial doors, i.e. roller shutter doors or sectional overhead doors.

Mild Steel 'bolt-on' System

The system designed for particularly large openings or for those used by heavy traffic. The strips are clamped between two lengths of mild steel and so cannot be pulled or fall away from the opening easily. Either a fixing angle or a fixing flat can be supplied for either underside or face fixing respectively, along with a clamping flat. This system requires fabrication and finishing and therefore we require 2-3 days for despatch.

The strips can be overlapped to create any of the patterns below, to suit differing traffic and weather conditions, and can easily be removed in better weather when more ventilation is required and then moved back into position when more insulation is required.
